Porthos is an owner surrender from the south. He is a fun, active boy who needs opportunities to play. He loves being outside in his fenced-in yard, playing fetch and hanging out. Unfortunately, his family’s work schedule is changing and he would need to be crated several hours each day. They wanted a different life for him so made the difficult decision to rehome him. Porthos is great with kids and dogs. We are unsure of cats. He has done well in play groups with all sizes of dogs. Porthos is 1.5 years old and weighs 31 lbs. He is a sweet, loving, playful fella. He rides well in the car and walks well on leash. He would like a fenced-in yard to run around in. He will do well with another playful dog or as an only dog, provided his family has enough time for daily exercise and play. Porthos will be arriving July 13 and will be fostered south of Boston.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Porthos, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
