Pretty Penny is an easy going beauty that is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees, rescued from an elderly ladys farm that did not really want her. She has had several litters of pups and we have promised her that will not happen again. We now have this girl in rescue and a foster home that adores the Great Pyr breed and knows the breed temperament and personality well. Pretty Penny is a total sweetheart, despite her previous neglect and circumstances. She is not distant with people as she could have been after being neglected and on her own there at the barn on the farm. She absolutely loves people and constantly wants to be with them. She gets along with other dogs, mostly younger dogs are her favorite. She is still playful, walks OK on a leash and that is a task being a Great Pyr. Penny doesn't have the typical aloof Great Pyr attitude which is a total BONUS and we find her to be more affectionate than most.. We must insist that she go to a home with a fenced yard and we can vouch for her being around children and that she is OK with cats as well. This big girl weighs about 80 lbs, her hair is naturally shorter than some Pyrs, so that makes it much easier to care for. She is in Nashville, TN in a foster home and can travel northward to a new family when the right fit is found. Email us at XXXX@gmail.com She is ready to go after Oct. 20th.
