Pumpkin Harvest American Bulldog Adult Female
Hey I'm Pumpkin, and I love to be the life of the party! I might be blind in my left eye but that doesn’t stop me from being the most goofy, energetic/couch potato, perfect dog ever. What makes me so perfect you might ask? well let me tell ya:1) I'm super duper dog friendly and would be the perfect dog park girly2) I LOVE people of all ages and sizes3) I'm the perfect balance of energy and cuddles4) I am super duper goofy and will always make you laugh... that's a promise.5) I ride amazing in the car6) I have all the love in the world to giveLets go into more detail though starting with other dogs. They are absolutely my best friends and when I went to playgroup there were no need for slow introductions! I just hopped right in with no problems. I love to chase other dogs and to be chased. I may be short and stubby but watch out, cause I'm fast! The best part about interacting with other dogs is that I'm super duper good at matching other dogs energy levels and reading their ques. If a dog obviously doesn't want to play I wont be pushy but respect their space and chill with them. But if by chance their up to getting down and dirty then I'll hop right in with them. It would be great to have a new sibling in the home so that way everyday can be a playdate but if not, no worries you can just take me to your local dog park so I can meet some new friends. Now the humans are a whole different kind of fun. I love love love to snuggle and give lots of kisses. As I mentioned I’m super duper people friendly and would be the perfect family dog. I love the little ones and think their a blast. Im currently around teenagers all day and I love when they come over to give me pets and to play tug of war. Now energy wise I’m the perfect mix between medium and low energy. I love to run around with my friends and I would be a great running partner. Since I am on the shorter stubby side I do get a bit tired after a long day of play and will require a spot right next to you in the couch for our afternoon cuddle and tv session. As we spend more time together you’ll find that I can be super goofy. One of my favorite things to do is find a soft grassy hill and wiggle down it on my back. Watch me do that here: https://youtube.com/shorts/fVixWAzNTfM?feature=shareAnother goofy thing I do is when you take me on a super long walk I get a bit tired so the first patch of grass I see I will plop down on and try and take a quick nap. At that point my foster mom usually has to carry me the 2-3 minutes back home but don’t worry I’m still small enough that you’ll have no problem picking me up.Next let’s talk about some fun things I enjoy. I love car rides and would make for the perfect adventure buddy! I’ll hop right in (As long as your car isn’t too high off the ground) and while you’re driving I’ll sit very patiently and stare out the window while I wait for us to get to our next destination. Talking about destinations I would absolutely love to visit a beach sometime. I’ve never really been before but I know I like chasing the water from the hose around the yard and both places have water right? If time falls short during a day and there isn’t much time for an adventure don’t fret I would be super happy to spend the day at your house with some toys to keep my busy. I’m not destructive with toys but I sure do like nawing on them so some heavy duty toys like my nylabone is required. My story is quite sad so far. I used to have a home but one day my family decided they didn’t want me anymore and my current foster mom watched as they physically threw me out of their car in front of her business. Im so lucky that I wasn’t hurt and that my foster mom took me in. Even though my first family didn’t show me much love I have a ton to give and promise to love you till the ends of the earth. Now that you know a bit about what I’m like and some of my favorite things let’s talk about my training. First off is that I’m potty and crate trained but as always I might have a few accidents when I move to a new home till I figure out where the correct place to potty is. Next is that I know how to sit and stay. I’m also pretty good off leash but I’ll need continued training on my recall. Other than that I don’t know many tricks but don’t worry I’m VERY food motivated so training will be a breeze. I might benefit from a slow feeder In my new home. So now that know you all about this love bug how bout taking a chance and making me your next family pup?Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary!
