Say hello to our sweet Miss Quincy. This big brute Rottweiler has a pretty awesome story behind her, she beat cancer !!! Quincy is around 7 years old and was brought in as a stray. Upon her intake it was found she had a mass on her neck and also a few masses on her mammary glands. We got her on some meds which made the mass on her neck go away but she still had tumors/masses on her mammary glands. We took her to the vet and it was found that she had even more on the inside. It was decided that surgery was needed to be done to get the tumors out. Her procedure was done by the East Holmes vet and they were able to successfully remove all the tumors and the tumors were all found to be non cancerous!! She had quite the healing journey, having to go back to the vet several times to have sutures removed. Now this sweet girl is ready to find a furever home ! She is a big lover dog and just wants all your attention. She loves playing with any kind of ball, tennis ball, squeaker ball, hard ball, literally any ball she will chase. She also likes to try and chase vehicles and cars which is something you will have to monitor her on. She has seemed a little indifferent with other dogs here at the shelter so a meet and greet with any dogs you might already have would be recommended. This sweet girl needs a loving home and family where she can live out the rest of her days as a big spoiled Rott.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Quincy, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
