If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Jack, an active Rat Terrier X in need of a new home. I was adopted into what I thought was my forever home, but it wasn't meant to be. I was picked up as a stray in San Diego, my adopter no where to be found. I'm very lucky to be back with CARL who has a lifetime commitment to all of their dogs. I'd do best in an adult-only home where I'll receive all the love and attention. At one time I lived with two smaller female dogs, but I became territorial so I need to be the only dog in the home. I used to live with two large cats and I never messed with them. Small cats and other small animals I may go after. I've caught rats and gone after rabbits but never caught one but not for a lack of trying. I love attention and being with my people. I don't enjoy being left alone all day. I'm used to sleeping on the bed with my person, so hopefully you will allow me to continue to do that. I'm not a dog who is good off leash. I will wander off if a door is left open. Dog parks are a no for me, too scary and I get very anxious.
