Red is an 28 month old 60 lb golden retriever mix. He is very outgoing and friendly. He is getting along with other dogs and is being neutered today. Red is an exuberant dog who needs some basic puppy training as far as learning commands and not jumping up. Red tested very light positive on his heartworm test. We have started him on doxycycline and gave him a six month proheart shot. He can be adopted locally and we will revisit the treatment plan At that time. The rescue will cover the immiticide treatment if indicated.
