Meet Ritchie, an adorable three-year-old Dachshund mix who weighs in at a perfect 14 pounds. This friendly little guy has a big personality, and he shows it by jumping up and dancing on his hind legs whenever he sees people! Ritchie isn’t too interested in toys—his favorite thing is just being with his human friends. He’s got a gentle side too, taking treats softly and enjoying cuddles, especially thanks to his silky-soft fur. Ritchie is comfortable being picked up but is a little sensitive to motions over his head. He has some scarring on one eye, but it doesn’t stop him from seeing and living life to the fullest. With an adoption fee of $225, Ritchie comes fully prepared to join his new family. The fee includes his spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness check at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Ritchie can’t wait to dance his way into your heart!Adoption processHome Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.Shelter locationGo to www.homefurgood.org to see where you can meet our available pets.
