Mr Ritz Cracker came to us when his former owner was unable to give him the time and attention he deserves. He is a young doodle puppy and is as sweet as can be. Ritz is still a bit nervous in new situations. He has already come a long way and really looks to the other dogs in his foster home for a sense of comfort. Ritz would thrive in a patient home with a mentor dog for him to continue to learn and build confidence from. He is a super cuddly, playful boy who loves his walks and toys. He is just a typical energetic puppy, although he does calm down nicely after activity. Ritz is going to be an amazing addition to the right home. Ritz's adoption fee is $600 If you're interested in adopting Ritz, please complete an adoption application at roversretreat.orgAdoption processWe rescue dogs and place them in foster homes until they are ready for adoption. We vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip, and provide any additional care such as surgery or rehabilitation. We help each dog get ready to be placed in a happy forever home. Potential adopters are asked to complete an online adoption application and may be visited by one of our volunteers to do a home interview. We aim to find the best fit for each dog's needs. Our adoption fees range between $400-$1,000 for domestic dogs and those from Mexico. Dogs are assigned an adoption fee based on several factors such as age, breed, health and behavior, amongst others. For our international dogs from overseas, adoption fees range $800-$2,000. International adoption fees are higher due to the travel and boarding costs, as well as the above-mentioned factors for domestic dogs. These dogs stay in their country of origin for weeks, or sometimes months, prior to being able to travel.
