Here is Rocky Boy! He’s a happy, healthy, friendly boy who is ready for a family who won’t abandon him.This handsome boy was brought to a boarding facility by his owners when they were moving, once they were settled they did not bother to come back to get him. The kennel manager knew his normal behavior and could tell that Rocky knew he was cast aside and was losing hope. He became sad, stressed and would not eat. Thankfully the manager has a friend who is part of our southern rescuers and reached out to him to take him. This was Rocky's last hope.When Rocky came into rescue, he weighed only 40 lbs. but now he is happy and thriving! He has already gained 18 pounds! Rocky is always so eager to please. He will sit & lay down on command. He doesn’t mind being handled when he is eating. He’s good with kids & with other dogs (even annoying puppies). Rocky is crate trained & learned the foster household routine very quickly. He can be high energy, but calms down really well. He is truly the best best boy and deserves all of the very best.
