Rosie is a beautiful girl - chocolate with a white chest and the cutest tan eyebrows!She's silly and playful like a lab pup too, more so than her brother Teddy, medium energy level.Training:- Potty training: Mastered! She’s been with me six weeks and had zero accidents! We keep a tight schedule.- Crate training: Knows what to do, but sometime chooses not to and needs direction. She’s afraid she’s going to miss something fun on the outside!- Dog door trained: Previous foster says she’s trained, but I don’t have one.- Leash trained: She walks easily on a leash and harness.- Knows basic commands, sits for every meal and treat.- Rides well in a car.- She has learned not to jump on us, but may need reinforcement from new people, not totally sure.She's very smart, quickly learned basic commands.Social Skills and Behavior:Rosie loves all dogs, people, children, but no experience yet with cats. I have 5 adults that put these pups in their place, one growls at them but Rosie has worked her way onto her good side and is able to submissively roll onto her back and lick her face, unfazed by the growls.Rosie’s foster home is on a ranch so she's able to roam some but doesn't go far from the house. She's either doing zoomies through the yard with her brother or laying by the door, ready to come in - it's HOT out! We take many walks and some hikes through the wood, mostly without a leash. She likes to be in front of the pack, exploring and will lay down in every puddle, but if I call her name she comes right to me. She and Teddy have been here six weeks and we’ve had no accidents, no holes in the yard, and nothing chewed or torn up (though she tries to sneak off with my house shoes). I don’t recall being able to say this in the past with other pups. Because of this perfect behavior, they’ve earned the privilege of lounging inside often. They calm down quickly and prefer to lay right by me. Rosie is more independent than the others though, not as clingy, but loves her share of pats and belly rubs.Ideal Home:Rosie will thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of outdoor playtime with another dog. She does best with consistency and firm boundaries, like one of my kiddos! Once these were established with us, things have run a lot more smoothly and she has made a delightful addition.
