Summers County Humane Society Meet Ruby Roo. This sweet girl was found wandering all alone on a rural road. Luckily a kind soul found her and took her in. Animal could not locate her owner, so now she is available for adoption. This sweet girl loves people and gets along with other dogs. She is working on house training and leash walking in foster care. Please help Ruby find her forever home. Please sponsor me! We work with rescues in northeastern states via the For All Paws Sake transport network.Our dogs can be transported as far as New England on Saturdays. Receiving Rescue Application September 3, 2024, 8:26 pmAdoption processACWP's requires potential adopters to submit an application and veterinary references to be reviewed by our placement team. A phone interview will follow and if a suitable animal is available a home visit will be arranged. ACWP requests a tax-deductible donation of $200 for most dog adoptions to help offset vetting expenses and to assist care for future animals.Shelter locationOur county and ACWP, Inc. do not have an animal shelter and our pets are kept in foster homes.
