This little lady has only ever lived outside her entire life, here in Connecticut. She is exceptionally bonded to her sister Ginger but they have to be separated because they're far too co-dependent on one another. Sage needs to go to a home with a confident dog that will welcome her and show her how to be a dog. Sage is very quiet and timid, has no idea what a leash is, and is learning how to potty train. She's going to need a patient home to show her the ropes. She's so sweet and shows endless gratitude towards us for keeping her warm and fed. She's got so much potential and we are hoping that a family sees those yellow eyes and falls in love.Adoption processWe usually do our home visits 3 weeks post adoption or Facetime due to Covid-19. Please be advised that we will be in touch about the visit and will also follow up and keep tabs on your dog and it's transition into your home.Shelter locationAll meet and greets are by appointments only and usually between 10-1pm on Saturday's.
