Meet handsome Spanky! This delightful swirled tabby has a loving, confidant personality. Spanky was rescued with his siblings over the summer and he's ready for adoption now. Spanky makes himself at home quickly and loves lots of attention. He's playful, smart and will definitely make you happy with his antics. He gets along very well with other cats and is currently in a foster home with Moo. These two love to play hard together and nap together. If you were looking for a pair, Spanky would work well with Moo or his brother Sparky. However, as long as he has another playmate in his home, Spanky will be happy. Spanky is 6 months old (as of November 2024), neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations and Feline Leukemia/FIV negative. To meet Spanky, please send an email to Lori at XXXX@gmail.com.Adoption processTo begin the adoption process, you must fill out an application. You must be 21 years old to be considered for adoption. We require personal references including a vet and /or landlord (if applicable). If you have not adopted through us previously, we may require a home visit prior to adoption. All adopted cats must be kept indoors and up to date with vet care, including yearly wellness exams. Your adoption donation allows us to provide the following vet care for each of our fosters.*Spay or Neuter*Rabies Vaccination*Distemper Combo vaccinations*Feline Leukemia/FIV testing*Worming medications*Flea TreatmentsAny medical issue that arises in our care is addressed prior to adoption. Upon adoption, you receive a copy of medical records which will cover all care provided by our vets. Declawing is not permitted. A wellness visit must be scheduled with your vet within 2 weeks after adoption.Shelter locationFor approved applications, if an adoption day event is not available, we are making other arrangements for meeting our foster cats.
