This adorable little dude is Spuds. He is a 2-3 year old 11 pound Shih Tzu and Wirehaired Terrier mix. Spuds is a happy guy and loves to be with his people. He would like to find a family where someone was around most of the time. Spuds favorite spot is in someones arms, hed happily let you carry him around all day. Wherever you go Spuds is going to follow. He loves sitting and sleeping next to his person. Spuds does well with other dogs his size. Because Spuds is a little guy, his forever home should not have large dogs or children under 10 years old. He would enjoy a fenced yard to run and play in. Spuds came to us from Texas. He and two other dogs were abandoned at a high kill shelter. A friend of ours got them safe and the volunteer pilots with Pilots N Paws flew them to us. Spuds needed some help when he got here, he had a rotten tooth and needed a dental and had cherry eye a prolapse of the 3rd eyelid. Spuds is now all fixed and ready to find his forever home. Spuds is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested and microchipped.
