Stella is two years old and believed to be a Dachshund mix. She is friendly and loving, gets along well with kids, cats and other dogs. Stella was surrendered by her owners who could no longer take care of her. She is now spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and is on monthly heartworm/flea/parasite preventive. Stella's adoption fee is a donation of $600 to the rescue.July 10, 2024, 8:20 amAdoption processAn application to meet or adopt is required before scheduling an appointment or providing our address or directions. Other requirements are approval of application; adoption fees and contract. Adoption fees are tax deductible donations payable via PayPal or check made to Fairy Dogmother Rescue & Rehab, Inc. Cash is accepted also. Fees for long distance adoptions are payable thru PayPal (small service fee applies). Adoption fees are donations that support the rescue and make it possible to save, house, provide vet care and find homes for as many small dogs as possible. Fees provide for all the 50+ dogs at Fairy Dogmother, not just the dog being adopted. Most fees are $450 (seniors, some big dogs or long timers could be lower). All FDM dogs are safe on premises until adopted, are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, maintained on monthly heartworm and flea preventive. There is no time limit for adoption.Shelter locationThe rescue is located in Baileyton, AL at the home of founder/director, Glenda Wilhite. Dogs are seen by appointment. Application to meet or adopt is required before appointments are scheduled or our address or directions provided. Please email for same at XXXX@gmail.com Visitors are welcome to see all the available dogs. If everything goes well, visitors can go home with a new family member that day.
