Hi, I’m Thumper! I’m a 1.5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier and German Shepherd mix, full of energy and love. I’m up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My foster mom has done a great job helping me get used to my kennel and potty training. I weigh about 70 pounds and am currently on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach, which helps keep my tummy happy. I’m a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to run around the yard, play with ropes and tennis balls, and cozy up on the couch with my family. I adore kids (10+), enjoy playing with dogs my size or larger, and love meeting new people. I’m looking for a forever home with a yard where I can run, go on walks, hikes, and adventures. My ideal family will continue working on my training, be patient as I’m still young, and keep me safe by using a kennel when I’m home alone. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion, I’m ready to join your family!Adoption process1. Submit the adoption application using the following link - http://aceofhearts.wufoo.com/forms/ace-of-hearts-adoption-application/ 2. Ace of Hearts will call you for an interview 3. We'll schedule a private meet and greet or have you attend on of our adoption events 4. We'll schedule a home check (our adoption agreement must be completed in order to schedule the house check to assure that you agree with our contract) 5. If approved, we'll have you do a 3-5 day trial before you commit to adopt (dog will come with all supplies needed) 6. If all goes well, we'll finalize the adoption by giving you an adoption speech and collect the adoption fee (you will return or reimburse us for the supplies) The adoption fee is a tax-deductible $500, all dogs are current on shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped.Shelter locationWhere: Petco in West Hollywood, 508 N. Doheny West Hollywood, CA 90048 When: Three Saturdays a month (call for exact dates) If you fill out an application, we can arrange for private showings of the dog at the foster parent's home.
