Titus von Tissa is a stunning, 11-12 -month-old German Shepherd. He’s a happy lad of medium energy, always full of joy at the prospect of a walk and of meeting new dogs. Titus meets dogs well, even though he can be too enthusiastic at times, and walks nicely next to other dogs. He is a big love bug who’s curious about everything, loves all the attention he can get and enjoys showering you with kisses. Our gorgeous boy will benefit from an active home, and it’s guaranteed he’ll be a stellar student since he’s very treat-motivated. Titus seems housebroken, knows “Sit," and “Down," rides well in a car and takes treats gently. He does well in playgroups, having a blast in the company of other playful dogs, but can be a bit much for calm dogs. He will do best with dogs who match his energy. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog.
