Thank you for your inquiry. Trigger has an adopter but we have to wait for them to go pick him up after the stay at home is lifted. Once he is picked up we will remove his profile. Please do not write to us for an application. Sorry for any inconvenience. Trigger is only 11 inches tall and 19 pounds. He has all the wonderful traits you expect in a Jack Russell Terrier. He is very affectionate. He is about 7 years old and a snuggle bug that lost his previous person to illness and is looking for his own person to worship. He loves to lie out in the sun and go in the garage to look for mice. He plays okay with other dogs of all sizes. He would love to be an only dog if his person was around a lot but he wouldn’t like being left alone for 8 hours a day without canine company. He is untested with cats. Trigger is ok with children over 7 years old. He loves giving and getting lots of attention. Adores treats, walks, car rides and cuddles. He is an active kind of guy, always looking for adventures in everyday life. He is a real character and is full of love for his people. He sleeps in his bed all night long though he really would prefer yours so he can cuddle with you. He is a very quiet and smart dog who understands what you are saying to him. Trigger really is a sweetie pie that needs a forever home with someone who will love him forever. Trigger is being fostered in San Francisco. His adoption fee is $275.00. Please contact us for more info or an application to adopt at XXXX@yahoo.com Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.Adoption processThe first step to adopting is to complete the Adoption Application and submit it to the DogZone Rescue. You will have to ask for one by writing to us at XXXX@yahoo.com You will be contacted right away by a representative once we receive it. Our application process includes an adopter and your vet, if you already have animals and an interview on the phone with your adoption coordinator. We require a home visit to ensure the environment is safe for the dog.It usually takes about 2 -3 weeks from the time we receive the application for your dog to come home to you. Our policy is to find the best home for each dog, where it will thrive in the environment of its new forever home. Although we work the applications on a first-come, first-served policy, it doesn't necessarily mean that the first application is the perfect fit. If the dog you applied for is not a good match for your home, we will make sure to work closely with you and your family to find which one of our precious dogs will be a great fit for your lifestyle. You can be assured that we do not misrepresent our dogs and we are absolutely honest when we tell you about our dogs. Our adoption fee varies depending on the dog's breed and age. The range is $275- $300. Senior-to-senior program: On dogs 10 years old and older we work on a case-by-case basis and will reduce fees where we can. We do offer training support with all our adoptions; just contact us if you need help. The dogs are nurtured in foster homes and given basic training and treated for any injuries or illnesses that we are aware of.Shelter locationWe do not have an adoption center, we occasionally are able to take some dogs to events which we will post here.
