Valentine is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female (possible) Beagle/Basset Hound/Terrier mix who was picked up in Belpre Ohio by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff and brought to the HSOV during the evening hours on June 2nd or the early morning hours on June 3rd, 2024. We haven't yet learned a specific location in Belpre where Valentine was found. She was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This little sweetheart has a snow white short smooth coat with black patches on her left side and at the base of her long tail. The double black patches on her side resemble an abstract heart design. Valentine has a rather long body. Valentine has an adorable symmetrically-marked black/white face with brown eyebrows, a black button nose, and large floppy ears. Valentine has an affectionate, outgoing personality and is full of playful puppy-like energy. She was in 'seventh heaven' when HSOV Kennel Tech Cadince Bibbee spent lots of time with her while she assisted Valentine with her glamour pictures and lavished attention on her for being such a good girl. Much to Cadince's delight, Valentine rewarded her with bunches of puppy kisses afterwards. Valentine currently weighed 52.2 lbs but doesn't have the appearance of being a very large dog when you see her in person. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Valentine will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Valentine, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
