Velvet Unicorn was rescued from a rural shelter and brought to an A New Leash on Life foster home to birth and raise her 11 pups. Now that her motherly duties are complete and her puppies have found their forever homes, it is her turn to find her people! Velvet Unicorn looks serious, and she is-about belly rubs! She also loves cheese, treats, bones and snuggling on the couch with her people. Velvet has played well with other dogs in her foster home, but she would not mind being an only dog. Velvet is 2 years old and weighs 51 lbs. She is house trained, good on a leash, and is trusted out of the crate in her foster home. Velvet is incredibly calm and gentle with young children in her foster home, choosing to calmly watch them play from the patio.
