Hi there, I'm Wishbone. My days are filled with chasing my tail and playing with squeaky toys. I'm a ball of energy, always ready to play a game of fetch or tug-of-war. I also love cuddles, snuggling up close after a day of fun. I've had some tough times, like when I was given away for free in a parking lot. But I'm not dwelling on the past. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.Adoption processWe must have an application for each adopter which must be approved by the rescue before adoption. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt.Shelter locationWe are foster based, so we do not have a facility to visit, but we do have Adoption Events almost every Saturday at the Covington PetSmart, 45 Park Place Dr., Covington, LA (located off of Hwy 190 next to Home Depot).
