Nash is a Red Merle Cattle Dog mix found as a stray in Little Rock. He was malnourished and had extreme skin issues but he has become a beautiful boy with little love and care. He now weighs around 55 pounds and has beautiful coat markings. The vet estimates he is 3 or 4 years old. Nash is a big dog in a medium dog package. He loves attention and wants to be with you 24/7. He needs a securely fenced yard, but he loves being around his people. He is a working dog by breed and needs something to do, so a high-energy home would be just fine. His foster mom has been working with him on basic obedience commands and learning how not to jump up. He is brilliant, and it would be great if you could continue his training. He needs someone to provide structure and leadership as well as lots of love. He has learned to walk calmly on a leash and tolerates the crate. He likes being outside but also wants to be with you in the house. Nash is good with other dogs but untested with cats. He has shown no aggression in any situation. He fears new experiences, but after he does something one time, he's fine. He has soulful eyes and will gaze at you with devotion in return for the love you give. Nash has been neutered and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and will be receiving treatment.
