Samson is a dapper, handsome senior gent who is a HUGE volunteer favorite. He lived in one home for about 2.5 years before coming to PACC in 2021 and has since bounced around foster and adoptive homes. This well-behaved and loving dog truly deserves some stability and a true forever home. We all know that the shelter is no place for a senior citizen even under the best of circumstances. Here’s what Samson’s former foster had to say about him:`Samson is good with strangers, and immediately started cuddling with a few friends who came over to our house. When I am watching a movie or working, he will jump next to me on the couch, put his head in my lap and flip over to let me give him a tummy rub. He LOVES his fluffy ball and loves to run and get it. He`s not as good about bringing it back to me or dropping it, but he has a very good time chewing it, and loves when it`s thrown. Most of the day, he is pretty chill, just sleeping or looking out from our balcony, but he can be very high energy on walks or when we come home from work (when he is excited). Samson is loving, loyal, high-spirited, and funny. When we come home from work, he runs up to us and wants to cuddle, or get his toy. One of his favorite things to do is to sleep on his back and get a tummy rub. He jumps on the couch and lays with his head on my lap. When he gets excited, he bounces around the house with his toy (which cracks us up).`- Samson is very good with kids- Will likely do best in a home without cats- Is calm and mellow at home- Housebroken- Loves to play with a fluffy, bouncy ball- Very friendly and cuddly and is interested in everything and everyone- Very smart and learned several new tricks in just a few daysSamson is an energetic boy who was social and playful when meeting other dogs in PACC playgroup.
