Lucy_A199810Lucy is a 2-year-old, spayed female, white and black Dalmatian/Australian Shepherd mix that weighs 52 pounds. She was surrendered by her former family on 10/22/19 because they could no longer care for her. Lucy lived with her previous family all her life and they shared with us that she is an indoor/outdoor dog that is house trained. She is good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. She walks well on the leash and knows the sit, down and shake commands. She is a friendly girl that loves everyone. Lucy was never destructive in her former home and previously lived with a larger dog and a cat. She also lived with older, respectful children - she may not do well with younger children due to her fear of loud noises and she can be snappy when taking food from the hand. We found Lucy to be such a delight! She is super-sweet and loves attention. She also enjoys playing with squeaky toys and will play a short game of fetch. She`s friendly toward cats and dogs her size here at the shelter; if you have another dog and are interested in adopting Lucy, bring them to the shelter with you and our staff will help you with a meet and greet. Lucy`s $85 adoption fee includes her annual booster vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip, leash, collar and goody bag!
