Meet Bane! Bane is a 2 year old Border Collie/Hound mix. Bane is a timid dog, and needs a home without small children as loud noises scare him. He needs a quiet home with routine and daily exercise and he has a lot of energy! He would take to training well. Slow introductions to dogs, but he has done well so far. If you would like to adopt Bane, please fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. BANE'S ADOPTION FEE IS $150The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
