Meet Mr. Whiskers! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy with ID on 9/30, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised because he's such a cool dog! We think a more appropriate name would be Mr. Personality! This boy is the whole package; adorable and sweet, attentive and eager to please, and playful! He would love an active family to join on adventures! We bet Mr. Whiskers is always up for a good time! Mr. Whiskers is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 65 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he has been neutered and microchipped. He will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet this awesome dog in run 834; his ID # is 649650. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you.
