Introducing Precious, a young and incredibly sweet Pittie. Her journey to a brighter future began when she was surrendered by her previous owners, who had sadly neglected her medical needs. She arrived at an area clinic with a heartbreaking story of being hit by a car. Precious's remarkable journey involved enduring daily bandage changes, medications, and, regrettably, an amputation due to a severe infection that had taken over her leg. Despite the challenges she's faced, Precious's spirit shines through, revealing a shy yet sweet personality.Precious's gentle and timid disposition is evident in her interactions, such as her patient and kind response when a clinic cat shared her cone. While she hasn't been officially tested with other dogs and cats, her neutral response to other canines suggests she's likely to be a harmonious addition to a multi-pet household. The clinic had to prioritize her leg condition, so she has not been spayed yet but will be soon after her amputation site heals up, but her shyness and sweetness make her a strong candidate for a loving home that will appreciate her ability to overcome challenges with grace.
