This little 15 pound girl might be small, but her love for people makes her larger than life. Her wagging tail and smiling face reflect her friendly and loving personality. Tiki is easy on leash and doesn't require a lot of exercise so she would be great with a small yard and short walks. This four-legged cuddle enthusiast is a connoisseur of affection. Tiki doesn't just enjoy cuddling; it's her absolute favorite pastime. She's always up for snuggling close, seeking warmth and comfort in the lap of anyone willing to share love with her. She would love for her person to take her on errands, to the office and give her lots of attention. Tiki isn't just people-friendly; she's social with her fellow dog friends. Her dog-friendly playful spirit makes her a welcome addition to any doggy gathering. She has the typical small dog spiciness when first meeting a dog, but once she settles in and feels safe, she soon becomes their bestie. Tiki would be great in a home with or without other dogs. Tiki is in a fantastic foster home that has 6 other dogs her size and larger (up to 65 pounds). She also lives with 2 teenagers in the home and does great with strangers entering the home. Tiki would make a fantastic addition to any family with kids. Tiki meets everyone with a wag of the tail and cute bark to say hello. She doesn't love the crate at night so would love to be in bed with you. Tiki is almost potty trained with maybe an occasional accident overnight. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
