Meet Sweetie, a lovable dog whose journey led her to Foy Park before finding her way to the shelter. The kennel staff and volunteers describe her as incredibly sweet and adoring of human companionship. Sweetie`s affectionate nature is sure to win your heart.Sweetie thrives in the presence of people and would greatly benefit from a home environment where someone is available for the majority of the day. She experiences separation anxiety and tends to vocalize when left alone, which makes it crucial for her to have company. Therefore, we recommend a household with children aged 8 and above, where someone will be home most of the time. Due to her vocal tendencies, it is not recommended to place Sweetie in an apartment or condo unless there is constant human presence, as it may cause issues with other tenants.In terms of her compatibility with other animals, Sweetie prefers to be the only pet in her future family. She does not get along well with other dogs and is not fond of cats. For her well-being and happiness, providing a single-animal household where she is the only animal would be the best fit.If you believe that your family can provide a loving and attentive environment for Sweetie, we encourage you to make an appointment for an adoption screening.
