Meet Stella! I am a beautiful, petite, boxer girl. My family surrendered me to rescue to find a family that is able to be with me more often as they worked long hours and I was getting into trouble by myself. I escaped the apartment and was making friends in the complex. Whoops! I am a super social girl and have never met a stranger. I am doing really good with all of the dogs at rescue, including the puppies. I do well on a leash too! I am also full of kisses! I do have a sensitive stomach which is likely due to a mono diet and got into a different food causing a twisted stomach which resulted in emergency surgery. I am recovering really well and shouldn't have those issues in the future with food transitioning. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 10/16/19 ----- Breed: Boxer---- Age: 5 yrs ----- Size: 45 lbs----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, children. Cats unknown ----- Suitable for: Home with fenced yard, possible apartment with adequate exercise.----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: potential separation anxiety. We use a tough crate and no issues but she did chew up a plastic crate while in foster. Adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. If a yard is present, a fence is required. Breeds are not guaranteed. House training is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents.
