Meet Mocha she is from a high kill shelter in South Texas. She was left there as a puppy with her 5 littermates and a bad case of mange. Because of her hairloss everyone who came to the shelter to adopt a puppy looked right over Mocha and her family. It wasn't long before they were at the end of their time hoping for a family to save them. Thankfully someone from the CARE team spotted them and a lovely foster family in Postland opened their hearts and home to the litter and they were able to leave the shelter in the nick of time. Mocha has since then been seen by the vet and given a clean bill of health and treated for her skin infection. Her hair has grown back so much already and is continuing to grow in. She looks like she is going to be a beautiful chestnut color once she has all her hair back. Mocha does very well around kids and other dogs and has a lot of love to offer a family. The adoption fee of $800 covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and air transport.
