Wilt Chamberlain came in as a stray with a badly injured tail. It hurt so much that he couldn't even wag it - even though he really wanted to. It was quickly decided that he needed emergency vet care to have his injury evaluated. Chamberlain had to have his tail amputated, and now he just has a nub. But BOY does that nub wag! His whole body, actually.Despite his rough start with us at HHS, Chamberlain doesn't know a stranger and seems to love every person he meets! Since he's been recovering, we haven't tested him with other dogs yet, but we'd be happy to do a meet and greet to see how he feels about your other furry family member!Words from an HHS volunteer:"Wilt is a wiggly, high-energy dog who LOVES playing with his toys! He is a master at fetch and would love to find a forever home where he can play daily. Shelter life has been really hard for him, and he is struggling because he can't get all his wiggles out. Wilt has charmed his way into all of our hearts, and we can't wait to see this big boy get adopted!"
