Sam was adopted from us twice & returned both times at no fault of his own. He has lived with his sister Dalilah his whole life and they need to be adopted together. Sam has lived outside most of his life but is housetrained & enjoys coming in the house sometimes. He does well on a leash, being groomed, and being in a car. Sam is livestock friendly. He does well with dogs, cats, and children. He enjoys attention, but usually will ignore newer people unless they call for him. His previous owner says that he does seem to have hip dysplasia and is prone to ear infections. He loves going on walks and belly rubs. Sam is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated with DHPP and Bordetella. Sam is heartworm positive and he has finished the slow kill method of treatment; potential adopters should speak to their veterinarian about treatment options. All adoptions are first come, first serve, and are done in person. ECHS does not reserve animals for the public. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion
