Meet this cutie named Brandi aka Brownie! Was in a. foster care and thrived. Foster switched with one of Brandi’s siblings who has medical needs so she’s back at the shelter. She got along great with her 2 fur brothers and had tackled the house breaking. She is smart, eager to please, and loves soaking up all the body rubs and loving home has to share. Gets along with dogs and has a cat friend too. Just a great pup. She is Leary if approaches too quickly but is learning . Just a sweet heart per her foster dad.) Brandi aka Brownies story: She, her mom, and other siblings came into the shelter early March 2023 and are awaiting their adoption day. The puppies came in missing fur and have been treated and are cleared now for adoption. Brandi aka Brownie is 6 months old, current on shots, now spayed, and deserving of a wonderful life in a loving FOREVER home. She is sweet, learning to walk better on the leash, and full of puppy playfulness and kisses to share. As all pups Brandi aka Brownie will need an owner that has time to work with her on basic puppy manners/training so that she can mature into an even more amazing adult dog. Time, consistency, and love is what she needs to thrive with learning manners. Maybe you have the most perfect loving FOREVER home for sweet Brandi ?! If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance.The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.
