Sailor came to us from another "rescue" living in unlivable,dirty conditions. She came in with a friend named Barkley. She is SHY , she WILL TAKE TIME to warm up. She has been through something prior to us and we have been working with her for 5 weeks now , she will seek us out for attention and treats but it took her a week to trust us. She WILL NOT be all kisses and tail wags when you first meet , you will need to earn her trust but once you do ! OH she is the sweetest little girl ever !!!! she is crate trained , she knows a dog door , she is scared of men -all men - we have introduced her to several, she will trust a man in time with food and a soft hand , it will just take her time , she doesn't bite , she will just get nervous and hide. We prefer there to be another dog in the home to hep her settle and she her the ropes or a couple that lives alone - No Kids please as she prefers a quiet house with all the good treats and a warm bed, she lived with cats prior to us and did great . She uses a dog door in her foster home but she will need someone to show her the ropes at her new home and have patience with her . She is spayed , up to date on vaccines , chipped , and will come with a full adoption bag of items. We prefer someone who has experience with the breed , and can give her time.
