It’s 2023 and people don’t like to see majestic creatures like dolphins in captivity these days. That’s where you come in- free Dolphin by adopting or fostering today!! The shelter is no place for a devastatingly handsome aquatic critter like Dolphin. Not all captivity is bad though- he’d love to move to the captivity of a loving home, swimming through life with a family that loves him!! Dolphin came to PACC along with his smaller sister Shamu when their owner could no longer care for them. Shamu has since swum free of the shelter, and Dolphin is patiently waiting for his turn. He’s sweet, affectionate, and loves being with his people. Here’s what a few of his friends have said about him:“I’ve been spending time with Dolphin since he arrived at the shelter and I LOVE him. I spend a few days a week at the shelter and always take Dolphin out, often to play yard. He sticks right by my side and just wants affection. He gives great kisses and really wants to be the center of someone’s world. He’s super treat- motivated and will sometimes try to sneak a few snacks from my pouch, so the way to this boy’s heart is definitely through his tummy! Dolphin really deserves to find a loving home!!”“Today was my first time meeting Dolphin and I already love him. He was very easy to leash with four feet on the floor and we left the kennel area quickly and easily. Dolphin was a wonderful loose leash walker and he checked in with me often, making great eye contact. He is a skinny boy who is very hungry for food/treats, but he still takes them so nicely from your hand. He also showed me his perfect sit in return for treats. He`s such a sweet boy!”“Dolphin does a wonderful loose leash walk with no pulling or reactivity to other dogs. He knows ‘sit’ and ‘look’ and loves treats and cuddles.”Dolphin has shared his kennel with a couple of different furry friends. When meeting other dogs in playgroup he was a bit pushy to start, but relaxed and became more easygoing as he became comfortable with the other pups.
