Orange; adult-only home; breed experience required; possibly same-sized dog-friendlyAt first, Bolt was, understandably, scared and distrusting. After taking time to warm up, he is a protective boy who is fiercely loyal to his people. He has a keen sense of stranger danger, so it does take multiple introductions before earning his trust. That said, multiple shelter volunteers have taken the time to work with Bolt to socialize him and ensure he gets ample fresh air. We're hoping to find him a home with experienced German Shepherd owners where he will thrive. Bolt has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He knows sit and is very chatty-- we've learned that he will snarl and bark, but it's not a signal of aggression, it's just him speaking (that was a surprising learning curve for sure)! He is a big boy, yet only a mild puller when leash walking.
