Eddie is a 28 lbs, approx. 2 years old JRT.He is an owner surrendered to the shelter so, yes, he has some insecurities. Eddie is has been frightened at the shelter and tries to scramble the walls at the kennel whenever a stranger goes by, but we are slowly gaining his trust and he lets us take him outside today and pet him gently. He was not well treated, so he's learning to trust people again.Eddie is a little skittish do to his background, so a quiet household with a fenced in yard would be best for him. Eddie needs a patient and loving home to be able to come out of his shell and to grow into the confident and well adjusted JRT that he is meant to be. Since he is skittish and unsure of his surroundings I would say older, calmer kids would be better for Eddie, so they can help to reassure and nurture him.
