Benny has been bounced around to several different homes throughout his life and this lack of stability has definitely impacted his personality. He needs a stable, committed, forever home that will provide him with basic training and patiently allow him to finally feel safe and secure. Because Benny still needs to evolve into his very best self, no young kids for him. He doesn't seem to mind or react to any of the other shelter residents big or small! All Perth Amboy Animal Shelter residents will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. You must be 23 or older to adopt from the shelter, complete an Adoption Application and pay the associated adoption fee. The application must be approved by the shelter staff and all adoptions are finalized based on the best interests of our animals.
