Lager is part of an unwanted litter born 5/24/22 from KY. Mom is a shepherd mix on the smaller side and Dad is thought to be an australian shepherd. We currently just have him & his sister left of the gang.Lager is the biggest of the 2 left in this litter but really only weighs about 50-55lbs. This guy lives through his belly so training him with treats should be a breeze. He's a bit of a big goof (in a good way) as he has his fostermom laughing more than once every day. He loves all toys and is very curious about new things. Lager is also very interested in what you have to say even if he has no idea what you're saying so you can get his attention (which isn't always common in youngsters). He also does a lot of headtilting which makes everyone go awwww. In general, he's pretty laid back for a pup so he's kinda like the strong, silent type. His current fosterhome has a fenced yard so his leash training will definitely need work. Lager is definitely a country boy though, so we don't see him ending up in a home in the city.He needs training at this point so if you are interested in making him a part of your home and have the time & patience to teach him how to be the perfect companion, visit our site (endingthesadness.org) to submit an application to be considered.REQUIREMENTS: Adopters must be within 2hrs driving distance, have recent dog experience, no young children please, and are home more often than not.
