Charlie is a sweet 2 1/2 year old boxer/mastiff mix! He is leashed trained, kennel trained and house broken. Charlie is medium to low energy as long as he has his walks. He lasts about 5 throws with the tennis ball before he moves on to playing hide and seek or learning new tricks to show off to his humans. He is good with people, actually he loves them! He is also good with kids but recommend older kids as he is big and strong. He is not good with cats or horses. He was adopted about two years ago and has been in the same home since. Unfortunately the home includes cats and horses, which he has not been able to adjust to. As for other dogs, he is a rude greeter but through slow proper introduction he will be ok as long as there are no treats or bones involved. He needs a strong leader who is familiar with having large dogs. With a strong leader, he will listen and respond appropriately. He has had a good amount of professional dog training and knows all basic commands and can have good manners with a calm confident leader.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charlie, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
