Sandwich is a cute 2-year old male Beagle who was brought to the HSOV after closing time on November 16, 2023 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff who had picked him up on Buells Run Road in the Macksburg Ohio area. Sandwich was accompanied by another male Beagle (Pastrami). Neither of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped. Sandwich has a brown-and-short smooth coat with subtle black shading on his back, a long tail, and a handsome symmetrically-marked face with beautiful brown eyes eyes, a black button nose, and extra-large brown velvet ears. True to his Beagle heritage, Sandwich has a super-friendly personality and loves attention. Sandwich weighs 20 lbs and is fairly energetic on a leash. These updated photos were taken on November 24, 2023 when HSOV Kennel Tech Jocelyn Rose Jackson accompanied Sandwich for outdoor photos. Sandwich was full of playful energy but quickly calmed down and stayed as close to Jocelyn as possible for his 'glamour pictures'. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Sandwich & Pastrami were held for three days so that their family would have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.
