I'm a 1 yr and 8 month happy Border Collie boy. I had a bit of a rough start on my life road but now I'm making up for that start. I'm an energetic guy and I'm really smart and really curious and really cuddly. I love playing with toys, going on walks on leash, and playing with my friends Holly and Huck. I know how to sit and check in. I'm working on laying down, knowing right turns and left turns and bringing the toy all the way back when fetching. I've learned that being covered with a blanket is great and no longer scary. I would like a home with another doggo to run around with, tug toys together, chase and be chased and snuggle. I had hip surgery, right rear leg, a little over 2 months ago. I'm cleared for all activity. I'm still working on using my leg and gaining strength. I do best on slower leash walks for rehab work. I can go mach 5 on three legs. I'm also putting on some needed weight and my black coat with my white mane is looking quite stunning, if I might say so. I take a little time to get acquainted with new people. I'm doing much better but, I do appreciate a little extra time to know that new people are OK. I've learned to get in the truck and go for rides. My favorite places are Starbuck's, Murdoch's, and Ace Hardware, in case you were wondering. I do pretty good meeting new doggo's. I've been around a few cats, I'm curious but I haven't had much time to figure out the coexistence. I haven't had much if any experience with kids. My foster mom has introduced me to a few kids and I'm a little nervous and nippy. I've spent a little time in a kennel and do OK. Because I'm a Border Collie, young, really smart, and really curious, I get into things when I'm left alone for too long. I have a shoe fetish and I can wriggle into the closet. Sorry, the temptation is great. I'm good about doing all my business outside and I'll let you know if I need to go out. I love spending time outside and chasing the birds and staring down the rabbits. I will need a fenced yard until I understand my area. I might be a car chaser, so I appreciate being leashed until I understand this is not a good life choice. I'm happy to meet you. I'm excited for my forever home! Thanks for reading my bio!
