Poodle (Miniature) Mix Dog for Adoption in Cuba, New York, 14727 USNickname: Journey Posted Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (long coat). Journey was born about September 24, 2022 and will likely top out about 15 lbs. She is your typical, silly, active, Poodle mix. Journey loves the other dogs and will require another fun fur sibling in her forever home. She was raised with children and did well. Journey is fine on leash and in the car. She has been struggling a bit with house training as so many of these small dogs do and would benefit from having potty floor pads handy forever or for a while. I would assume the situation she came out of didn't make her training a priority as she was given up after her human experienced a tragic social injustice where several humans were murdered. While it is true that dogs can give us comfort, they also cause work and stress, especially a puppy. Journey's human did a wonderful job raising a happy, well adjusted, dog but she now needs time and rest to heal herself. There is one negative thing we've learned about Journey, if she has a high value toy or treat and another dog or a human attempts to take it from her she may growl, snarl, snap. We have been working with this by squirting her with water and/or taking her by the scruff and lifting her front away from the item and then easily take it away. It's a very easy correction that her adopters need to be ready for. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_650.00_______. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
