From “E” list at the shelter to a car ride home to safety! We are proud to present to you our handsome Hound dog, Smith’n!! This boy is nothing but grateful!! He was pulled out of a VERY HIGH kill shelter just in the nick of time before he was to be euthanized! His skin was horrible with sores all over and he was skin and bones. In our care he’s starting to fill out and is exploring and running the yard with other fur-friends! Smith’n is 49 lbs. and gaining weight. Our guess is he's about 2-3 years old, great with other dogs and is EXCELLENT in a crate. He does not do well with kitties because it’s in his genetics to hunt. He would do great in a home with dog savvy children that would love to take him on walks and explore the world! He is very good on car rides and he loves to gaze out the window with the hope of a quick stop for a pup cup! Smith’n would love to settle into a forever family that will keep him warm and toasty and NEVER again be subjected to the cold outdoor temperatures. He deserves to live his life on a soft
