Darling is a soft, beautiful, light brindle girl that is searching for a gentle soul to get her out of the shelter, where she is overwhelmed. Darling was brought in as a stray and may not have experienced much love in her life thus far, but seems to be extremely open to the idea of having her own person to learn with. She showed us this as she kept trying to make friends with our little toddler volunteer. She seemed to feel at ease with him. She also warmed up more and more to us, the longer we had her out in the exercise yard. She was just as polite to the other dogs in the run. Darling needs a special person and maybe a friendly, confident dog to help her gain some confidence for herself, and more importantly, to learn about love. It is hard to describe the reward you receive in adopting a dog that is on the shy side, and helping them to blossom into a loving family member who gets to experience happiness for the first time.
