Merry is a mini version of a giant dog-- a tad on the smaller side, weighing approximately 85 lbs. She wears a smile on her face just as big as her! The only thing bigger is her beautiful gentle heart. She is a bit of an older gal, estimated at 7 years old, but don't be fooled Merry has tons of personality and silly spunk! You can always catch her with her tongue out and a huge warm smile on her face. She loves to have a good time and enjoys a good snooze just as much! She is a perfect blend of a laid back companion and a pup that you can take out on a leisurely walk or to play gently with another dog in the home. Gotta love an older dog! This sweet girl is crate trained and is accustomed to a crate routine. Her foster momma is a teacher and is gone most of the day-- Merry rests patiently and quietly naps waiting for her to get home for some lovin! She is fostered with multiple dogs of many ages and sizes. They enjoy hanging out in the backyard, getting their daily smells in and enjoying some fresh air and rolling on the grass for some back scratches! She does like the companionship of another dog, but really loves to get human love and affection and wouldn't mind having it all to herself in a single dog household. Merry has been a true sport on car rides, where she rides very calmly in the backseat. Going out for pupaccinos is one of her favorite things to do! She does amazing in her 1 hour drive to visit to our rescue facility for vetting and social time. Would make a perfect travel companion. She knows no stranger and will greet anyone she encounters. Merry walks very well on a leash and is highly adaptable to any surroundings. She does not lunge or bark at people or dogs, and would be a great girl to take to dog friendly places for a fun day out!
