Contact foster at XXXX@gmail.comCooper is a very playful dog who loves a good chew session. He does pull a bit on a leash (we use a harness) but is nonreactive to other animals while on walks. I did a slow introduction with our male Golden Retriever, Oliver and they love to play with each other now. Cooper seems to be unreactive to my aunt`s cat. He notices her, but has shown no interest in going up to her. Cooper does have some issues with separation anxiety, in particular when I leave the home. Even if there are other people in the house, he howls when I leave. He also follows me from room to room. He was the easiest dog I have ever given a bath to! He hopped in the tub and stayed perfectly still while he got a good scrubbing. He does not seem food insecure, I feed both dogs at the same time, in different rooms and they are fine. While he seems to be house trained, he did have an accident when we were gone for about 3 hours, even though he had been let out just before we left. Once he is in bed (with us) for the night he sleeps all night. From past notes from a previous foster, he seems fine with children - we have no children in our home. He is super affectionate and loves to be curled up on the couch with us in the evenings with his head resting on us. It almost seems as though he responds to women more than men. He does have a habit of pulling things off our counter. We are working to try and correct that. Honestly, I`m at a loss as to why he hasn`t been adopted as he is a neat little guy!?Cooper - we have been working with him to try & get him a little less reactive to dogs. His crate training has been going well
