Adopt Grizz a Black - with Brown, Red, Golden, Orange or Chestnut German

We rescued Grizz from an animal shelter in a less-than-desirable area after seeing his picture on their website for nearly three months. He had been listed as needing rescue because of "skin issues." After seeing his regal face for so long, we couldn't imagine why he wasn't scooped up by one of many other rescues, but his animal shelter people were clearly intimidated by him due to his fearful behavior as they tried to leash him and bring him out of his kennel. Once in the vehicle of our volunteer who picked him up, she described him as a "grateful good boy" who "loves a piano concerto." We think Grizz is a dog who hasn't known love in his life, and as a result he sometimes "freezes" when being stroked or handled as if he's worried about what will happen next. He's a good-sized boy, probably around 3 years old.
