Our sweet and silly Doc came to us FIVE months ago. He was found running loose with 6 other hounds (Our 7 Dwarves!!). Doc was skinny, scared, FILTHY and infested with fleas and ticks.Doc is a very handsome, 4 year old Hound. Hehas put on the weight he needed, he loves to keep his kennel tidy which while we think he never lived in a house before we think this will make learning a housetraining routine fairly easy! Watching this boy's personality come out has been a joy. He loves to play chase, a good stuffed squeaky toy makes his day. He can be shy when first meeting new people but break out the treats, take him for a walk and he settles right in. Doc has been great with the dogs he has met and played with and has shown no real interest in the cats in the cat room. Doc is neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested and is current on all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
